A message from Captain Todd Gamber, Commander of the Jefferson County Squadron (Jeffco Squadron): It is a true honor to serve as Commander of the Jeffco Squadron. The Jeffco Squadron has a reputation for outstanding service to the state of Colorado, a reputation established though tireless work from it's incredibly talented and experienced staff. I serve to ensure Jeffco Squadron's reputation is continued and strengthened in the years to come.
It is the members, not the commander, who make the squadron excellent. Our members give what they can to develop themselves and, simultaneously, the squadron.
It is through giving that we become rich. We volunteer because it makes us happy. Through giving, we enrich our own lives, and the lives of those around us. One survey found that volunteers were 42% more likely than non-volunteers to rate their lives as "very happy" .
CAP is an organization in which everyone can gain something. Whether you want to build your resume, get to know new people, become more well-rounded, or become a better pilot, CAP offers you significant opportunity.
Welcome to Jeffco Squadron. I look forward to serving with you.
Todd Gamber, Capt, CAP
Commander, RMR-CO-136 "Jeffco Squadron"
