National Cadet Special Activities

National Cadet Special Activities offer cadets outstanding opportunities to spend a week or more exploring aerospace careers, developing leadership skills, and furthering their love of aviation. Annually, over 30 activities will be offered across the nation.

How to Apply

Follow the application instructions to apply for NCSAs. Applications for most NCSAs are accepted in a window between November/December through December/January each year.  Excct dates vary from year to year.

Updates

You can check status and make payments by accessing the NCSA Main Menu link under CAP Utilities on the main page of e-services (https://www.capnhq.gov/default.aspx)

Prequisites

All of the NCSAs require that the cadet have encampment credit prior to attendance. If National Headquarters does not have a record of encampment completion prior to the date of the activity, then Cadets will have to show the Activity Director their encampment completion certificate. Cadets may be sent home without proof of encampment completion and their activity fees will not be refunded.
