The Civil Air Patrol Highlander Composite Squadron is a newly formed Squadron centered around the Highlands Ranch/ Roxborough/ Chatfield area.

*     ABU / Dress Blue Uniforms

·         DATE: Sat., July 22nd

·         TIME: 10a – ? (end time will vary on how many cadets go and how long it takes to find uniforms)

·         LOCATION: Buckley AFB

o   I can transport cadets, meeting location will be determined based on how many
cadets and their location.

o   Parents could potentially drive cadets, however they may have to wait at the visitor
 center. Escort privileges may not be extended to parents coming on base.

·         OTHER: If you/your cadet cannot come to Buckley to check uniforms, please email me your
sizes and I will try to obtain the necessary sizes, however there is no guarantee they will fit, so it is
strongly recommended that your cadet come if they are able to do so.

·         UNIFORM OTHER: Remember until you obtain your 1st achievement, Curry Award, please
wear black shirt and blue jeans.

·         OTHER: Receive CERT certification and 24hrs of community service

·         OBJECTIVE: Learn to protect yourself, your family and your friends in case of an emergency.
 This training teaches you about potential disasters that could affect the Denver metro area
 and how to safely and responsibly respond to and recover from them.

CAP Emergency Services ratings.
 This online test must be completed and validated
by the unit commander before any member can participate in Emergency Services
training, missions, or exercises.

·         OTHER: Not required for the camping trip, but strongly encouraged to have
 completed as you may be able to get signed off on some of the UDF (Urban Direction
Finding Team) Emergency Services tasks.

·         CyberPatriot the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the
Air Force Association (AFA) to inspire students toward careers in cybersecurity
or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
  At the center of CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition.
