Welcome to the Brighton Cadet Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, Colorado Wing

Welcome to the Brighton Cadet Squadron website.  We are a cadet squadron based in the Adams County 27J School District in Brighton, Colorado.  The focus of the Civil Patrol Cadet Programs is developing youth leadership skills, aerospace education, and emergency services. Cadets will have the opportunity to fly with the Civil Air Patrol in both powered Cessna aircraft and gliders.  

This is a special after school program with additional opportunities.  The Civil Air Patrol program is offered as an Elective credit through Brighton High School.

If you are within the boundaries of Adams County School District 27J, you are welcome to attend a Squadron meeting.

Youth ages 12, or have completed the 5th grade, through age 18, and parents are invited to visit.  Please contact the Commander if you have any questions, or would like to attend a meeting.

Squadron Meetings are held at:  Brighton Heritage Academy, 830 E. Bridge Street, Brighton CO 80601, on Tuesday afternoons from 4:00PM to 6:00 PM.

Questions?  Cadets should ask your chain of command.

1st Tuesday of the month Physical Training and Drill. Uniform is PT - Wear running shoes, and dress appropriate for the weather outdoors.

2nd Tuesday of the month the Uniform is ABU/BDU.

3rd Tuesday of the month the Uniform is ABU/BDU.

4th Tuesday of the month the Uniform is Dress Blues.

5th Tuesdays are rare, Commanders Choice
