At the intersection with East Breckenridge, turn right and drive East to the intersection with Vail Street. Drive North on Vail Street to the Bldg 830 parking lot on the right. MAIL ADDRESS: Civil Air Patrol, Mile High Cadet Squadron, Mail Stop 33, Buckley AFB, CO 80011-9525
IMPORTANT: Our unit meets on an operational Air Force base. Visitors and prospective members who do not have a military identification card must be sponsored by a CAP member with a military ID, and must show their driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and vehicle registration at the main 6th Avenue gate to obtain a limited pass for initial visits. A Senior Member with military ID is at the Mississippi gate from 6:00 to 6:45pm to sponsor visitors. Approved CAP members and parents transporting cadets to and from Buckley AFB on a recurring basis can obtain a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIS) card at no-cost to preclude the need for obtaining a daily visitor pass. If you encounter difficulty entering the base or the hangar, call 720-847-5005 after 6:00pm, and one of us will come to escort you to the meeting. No one is at that number other than on Tuesdays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm (1800-2100).
