Welcome to the Parker Cadet Squadron!
“The greatest legacy a true aerospace leader can leave is to mold the next generation of warriors in his own image and spirit”
The Parker Raptor Cadet Squadron has a legacy of molding our youth into the leaders of tomorrow. We provide a challenging, yet healthy program of aerospace education and leadership studies to indeed mold the next generation of warriors and aerospace leaders.
If your kids live in the Parker area, are 12 to 18 years old and would like to expand their horizons in the framework of teamwork and discipline, or, even more compelling, fly a plane, launch a rocket, assist their community, defend the homeland and develop leadership skills while staying physically fit, then you and the young people in your life should consider a meeting with the Parker Cadet Raptor Squadron.
Cadet and Senior Members of the Parker squadron regularly participate in powered and glider aircraft orientation flights, model rocketry, communication training, emergency services and disaster relief training, First Aid, navigation and survival, physical fitness, leadership classes, field trips to museums and aerospace activities, search and rescue training and actively volunteer to participate and assist at community events. Opportunities also exist for national and international travel, flight training and aerospace career exploration!
If you’d like to learn more about the Civil Air Patrol and Parker Cadet Squadron please come to our next meeting this Thursday from 6:30-9pm at Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church. 9100 E.
