About

Thank you for visiting the Colorado Wing of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), an essential component of the emergency services system in the United States and a top source of aeronautical education and training. Our non-profit organization’s three primary missions—emergency services, cadet programs, and aerospace education—serve our neighborhoods and the country as a whole.

Our emergency services goal includes support for humanitarian missions, search and rescue efforts, and disaster relief. We collaborate closely with regional, national, and local organizations to deliver aid when and where it is most required. Our well-trained volunteer teams are standing by to react immediately and offer crucial services that save lives and lessen suffering.

Through a mix of leadership development, character building, and aerospace education, the goal of our cadet programs is to foster in young people the qualities of ethical and responsible leadership. Our cadets have access to a variety of activities, such as search and rescue missions, aerospace instruction, and physical training regimens.

Through a range of educational programs and resources, our aerospace education mission aims to advance general knowledge of aerospace and education. We collaborate with educational institutions, neighborhood associations, and other groups to deliver entertaining and educational presentations and activities that encourage children to seek careers in aerospace and related industries.

At the Colorado Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, we take great pride in using our commitment to excellence, service, and education to benefit both our local neighborhoods and our nation. Integrity, volunteer service, excellence, and respect are the fundamental values of the Civil Air Patrol that we are devoted to upholding. We invite you to browse our website and join us in our mission to serve and defend our country, whether you’re interested in volunteering, taking part in one of our programs, or simply learning more about what we do.
