| Colorado Cadets, CyberPatriot National Champs, Featured on Local TV News - Thursday, May 10, 2012KRDO NewsChannel13, a local ABC affiliate in Colorado Springs, recently aired a story about the cadets and coach from the Colorado Springs Cadet Squadron who earned the CyberPatriot National Championship in March.

| Colorado Squadron to Represent Rocky Mounatin Region at National Cadet Competition - Monday, April 30, 2012Colorado to Represent Rocky Mountain Region at NCC
Boise, ID - The Rocky Mountain Region Cadet Competition was held April 27-28, 2012, at Gowen Field Air National Guard Base, Boise, Idaho. Four wings were represented - Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Idaho.
The Colorado Wing prevailed by winning the competition and moves on to the National Cadet Competition in Dayton, Ohio, June 22-24, 2012.
Thunder Mountain Composite Squadron, based in Grand Junction, CO, is the team that will represent the Rocky Mountain Region.

| Colorado Wing Cadet Competition - Monday, March 26, 2012Colorado Wing held its Cadet Competition March 24 at Colorado State University in Ft. Collins. Thompson Valley Composite Squadron will represent the Rocky Mountain Region at the National Cadet Competition in June at Wright-Patterson AFB. There are no other entries for drill team; their spot at NCC is automatic. Thunder Mountain Composite Squadron Color Guard will travel to Boise, ID, to compete at the Region Competition representing the Colorado Wing on April 27-28.

| COLORADO SPRINGS CADET SQUADRON CYBERPATRIOT NATIONAL CHAMPS! - Saturday, March 24, 2012CONGRATULATIONS to the Colorado Springs Cadet Squadron on being the National Champs for the All Service CyberPatriot Competition. Members of the CSCS Wolf Pack who successfully defended virtual networks from a professional aggressor team during the competition are:

The CSCS CyberPatriot Team is featured in the forthcoming issue of the COWG Peaks & Planes magazine.
More than 1,000 teams signed up to participate in the CyberPatriot competition representing all 50 states, U.S. Department of Defense Dependent Schools in Europe and the Pacific, and Canada. A record 218 teams from CAP competed in at least one of the first three virtual rounds of competition before the four finalists made it to the fourth and final round.

The Civil Air Patrol is a great way to serve America. Our three primary missions are Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs and Emergency Services. CAP is an all-volunteer organization, made up of everyday people with a wide variety of skills.
Federal, state and local authorities rely on the CAP's volunteer pilots and ground personnel to provide search and rescue assistance, disaster relief, homeland security, counter-drug operations support and cadet leadership training. The Colorado Wing of the CAP offers a wide variety of opportunities for citizens from all walks of life to serve Colorado, and America. With nearly 60,000 members nationwide, the CAP is one of the largest volunteer organizations in the country.

The Civil Air Patrol is an auxiliary of the United States Air Force, performing "Missions For America". In Colorado, the CAP is headquartered at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs. We operate 35 squadrons throughout the state.

The COWG squadrons stand ready to
assist those in need. Missions range from search-and-rescue of lost hikers or hunters, location of downed aircraft and transport of emergency personnel or medical materials. When there is a disaster in a Colorado community, the State's CAP squadrons respond by transporting doctors, firefighters or emergency personnel to the areas in need.
